Privacy Policy

< Changwon Precision Ind. Co., Ltd.>(' goodfa.net' hereinafter referred to as the ' Company') has established the following Privacy Policy in accordance with the Personal Information Protection Act in order to protect users' personal information and rights and to smoothly handle users' grievances related to personal information.

Changwon Precision Ind. Co., Ltd. will notify any revision of the Privacy Policy through website notices (or individual notices).

1. Purpose of Processing Personal Information

Company processes personal information for the following purposes. The personal information processed will not be used for purposes other than those stated below, and if the purpose of use changes, prior consent will be obtained.

3. Processing and Retention Period of Personal Information

  • ① Changwon Precision Ind. Co., Ltd. processes and retains personal information within the retention and use period prescribed by law or agreed upon by the data subject at the time of collection.
  • ② The processing and retention period for each category of personal information is as follows.
    • 1. Quotation Inquiry
      • Personal information related to Quotation Inquiry is retained and used for the above purpose until < 3 years> from the date of consent to collection and use.

      • Relevant Law : Records on consumer complaints or dispute resolution : 3 years

4. Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties

  • ① Company provides personal information to third parties only in cases falling under Articles 17 and 18 of the Personal Information Protection Act, such as with the data subject's consent or special provisions of the law.
  • ② Company provides personal information to third parties as follows.
      • Recipient of Personal Information : Changwon Precision Ind. Co., Ltd.
      • Purpose of Use by Recipient : Name, Email Address, Contact Number, Inquiry Subject and Content - Optional: Attachment (provided only if necessary)
      • Retention and Use Period by Recipient : 3 years

5. Rights and Obligations of Data Subjects and Legal Representatives, and Methods of Exercise

Users, as data subjects, may exercise the following rights.
  • ① Data subjects may exercise rights such as requesting access, correction, deletion, or suspension of processing of personal information at any time against Company.
  • ② The exercise of rights under Paragraph 1 may be made in writing, by e-mail, fax, etc. to Company in accordance with Article 41 (1) of the Enforcement Decree of the Personal Information Protection Act, and Company will take action without delay.
  • ③ The exercise of rights under Paragraph 1 may be made through a legal representative or an authorized agent of the data subject. In this case, a power of attorney in the form prescribed in Appendix Form No. 11 of the Enforcement Rules of the Personal Information Protection Act must be submitted.
  • ④ Requests for access to and suspension of processing of personal information may be restricted under Article 35 (5) and Article 37 (2) of the Personal Information Protection Act.
  • ⑤ Requests for correction and deletion of personal information may not be made if such personal information is specified as subject to collection under other laws.
  • ⑥ Company verifies whether the person making requests for access, correction/deletion, or suspension of processing is the data subject himself/herself or a legitimate representative.

6. Items of Personal Information Processed

  • ① Company processes the following items of personal information.
    • ▶ Quotation Inquiry
      • Required Items : Name, Email Address, Contact Number, Inquiry Subject and Content
      • Optional Items : Attachment (provided only if necessary)

7. Destruction of Personal Information

Company shall, in principle, destroy personal information without delay when the purpose of processing has been achieved. The procedure, deadline, and method of destruction are as follows.
  • Destruction Procedure
    The information entered by users is transferred to a separate DB after the purpose is achieved (or separate documents in the case of paper) and stored for a certain period in accordance with internal policies and other relevant laws before being destroyed, or destroyed immediately. At this time, personal information transferred to the DB will not be used for any purpose other than those required by law.
  • Destruction Deadline
    If the retention period of personal information has expired, the personal information shall be destroyed within 5 days from the end date of the retention period. If the personal information becomes unnecessary due to achievement of the purpose of processing, discontinuation of the relevant service, termination of business, etc., it shall be destroyed within 5 days from the date on which the personal information is recognized as unnecessary.
  • Destruction Method
    Information in electronic file form is destroyed using technical methods that make the records unrecoverable.

8. Matters Concerning the Installation, Operation, and Refusal of Automatic Personal Information Collection Devices

  • ① Company uses 'cookies' that store and retrieve usage information from time to time in order to provide personalized services.
  • ② Cookies are small pieces of information sent by the server (http) used to operate the website to the user's computer browser and may also be stored on the hard disk of the user's PC.
    • A. Purpose of Use of Cookies : Cookies are used to provide optimized information to users by identifying visit and usage patterns for each service and website visited by users, popular search terms, secure access status, etc.
    • B. Installation/Operation and Refusal of Cookies : You may refuse to save cookies by setting options in the Tools > Internet Options > Privacy menu of your web browser.
    • C. If you refuse to save cookies, you may have difficulty using customized services.

9. Designation of Personal Information Protection Officer

  • ① Company is responsible for the overall handling of personal information processing and has designated the following Personal Information Protection Officer to handle complaints and provide remedies related to personal information processing.

  • ② Data subjects may contact the Personal Information Protection Officer and the department in charge regarding all inquiries, complaint handling, and remedies related to personal information protection arising while using the services (or business) of Company. Company will respond to and handle inquiries from data subjects without delay.

10. Changes to the Privacy Policy

  • ① This Privacy Policy shall apply from the effective date, and if there are any additions, deletions, or corrections to the contents due to changes in laws or policy, such changes will be announced through notices at least 7 days prior to the effective date.

11. Measures to Ensure the Security of Personal Information

Company takes the following technical, administrative, and physical measures necessary to ensure security in accordance with Article 29 of the Personal Information Protection Act.
  • 1. Minimization and Training of Employees Handling Personal Information
    Measures are being implemented to manage personal information by designating employees who handle personal information and limiting such duties to the minimum necessary personnel.
  • 2. Encryption of Personal Information
    Users' personal information and passwords are stored and managed in encrypted form so that only the user can know them, and important data is protected by separate security functions such as encrypting files and transmitted data or using file lock functions.

13. Request for Access to Personal Information

  • ① Data subjects may request access to personal information under Article 35 of the Personal Information Protection Act from the department below. Company will endeavor to process requests for access to personal information promptly.
